Sangeet Sarita

Sangeet Sarita is an organisation which is wholly dedicated to Indian classical music. This organisation is committed to follow the tenets laid down by the two luminaries of the music world - Pandit Vishnu Digambar Paluskar and Pandit Vishnu Narayan Bhatkhande. Sangeet Sarita was established by Shri Rajinder Kumar Sharma, the able student of Kirana Gharana's famous singer Pandit Jagdish Mohan, along with the help of his students Dr. Rishiraj Pathak, Shri Vikas Sancheti and Shri Varun Agarwal on 14th January, 2018 in New Delhi.

The core objectives of Sangeet Sarita is to ensure that the rich tradition of Indian classical music thrives in modern times, people interested in learning music get the right information, students of music attain proper theoritcal and practical knowledge and to provide a platform for emerging artists.

Sangeet Sarita organises the Pandit Jagdish Mohan Smrti Sangeet Ceremony annually. Apart from this Sangeet Sarita also organises music workshops, conferences and interactive sessions from time to time.
